  During the 2000-2002 years, 8 students received NIOSH training grants. Seven are working towards their Masters of Science degree in Industrial Hygiene and one has transferred within the Department and received a degree in Safety. The program faced some short-term difficulties last year because of the severe illness of the program director, Dr. Guffey. He is now in very good health and the problems arising from his illness have ended. [Description provided by NIOSH]
