Description:The 1996 National Action Plan, Children and Agriculture: Opportunities for Safety and Health serves as the template for planning and implementing specific activities for protecting youth from hazards associated with production agriculture in the United States. Our National Children's Center for Rural and Agricultural Health and Safety (NCCRAHS) was established in late 1997 and has been actively engaged in addressing some of the steps outlined in that action plan.
