Description:In 2020, 2,535 stand-downs held & 416,430 workers reached.. Massachusetts, Virginia, Pennsylvania, California, Florida, and New Mexico held stand-downs that reached the highest number of workers across the United States. 217 stand-downs were held internationally, reaching 83,000 workers abroad. Companies creatively found ways to hold stand-downs in-person and virtually amid the pandemic. The most mentioned activities were trainings, meetings/huddles, and toolbox talks. Despite the challenges of the pandemic, 39% of participants held stand-downs for the first time (989). An additional 1,325 participants had previously held stand-downs.
