Description:The purpose of the Pilot Project Research Training Program is to increase the research capacity of research trainees and young investigators in occupational health and safety and to encourage those in related disciplines to pursue occupational health and safety research. The Pilot Project Research Training Program is located within the University of Cincinnati's Education and Research Center (ERC) based in the Department of Environmental Health within the College of Medicine. The University of Cincinnati's Education and Research Center is one of 18 such centers funded by the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) nationally. Under the Pilot Project Research Training Each year Pilot Project Research Training Program holds a symposium where grant awardees present their research findings. This symposium is attended by graduate students and faculty from regional universities and researchers from local governmental agencies. [Description provided by NIOSH]
