Description:Male reproductive health is a product of complex synchronies among testicular, accessory sex gland, neuroendocrine, and erectile function. Hypotheses about endogenous or exogenous factors thought to disrupt one or more of these functions are amenable to human studies. The purpose of this chapter is to describe the methods used to design, conduct, and interpret such studies. Common study designs and laboratory analyses applied to study men's reproductive health are presented, together with special research considerations and future assessment methods.
