Description:This spirometry training video provides information on how to correctly administer a spirometry test using the most current standard professional practice guidelines, recognize technical errors, and report valid test results. The information is tailored so that anyone administering spirometry tests will be able to follow these "best practice guidelines" regardless of the spirometer model or testing environment. This training video, consisting of seven modules, can be incorporated into the curriculum of current NIOSH-Approved Spirometry Training Courses or used by any health professional as an overview of spirometry testing. It is not a substitute for essential, hands-on practicum training. [Description provided by NIOSH]
