Description:The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) established the CDC Vietnam office in 2001. CDC works in partnership with the Government of Vietnam (GVN) and local and international organizations to strengthen capacity and infrastructure to address the HIV/AIDS epidemic, to foster sustainable surveillance, research, preparedness and outbreak response for influenza and other zoonotic diseases, and to address key public health priorities and concerns in Vietnam.
