Description:Resource Data, Inc. completed a series of edits and updates to digital data files for the U.S. Bureau of Mines. Revisions to the Mineral Terranes Areas of Alaska maps were completed based on information and digital data supplied by the U.S. Bureau of Mines and Alaska Earth Sciences. A new data set of Known Mineral Deposit Areas in Alaska was also developed. The report describes the digital base map and geologic data provided to the U.S. Bureau of Mines. Also provided is a section for installing the data. A data dictionary is included in this documentation and serves as a users guide for the data. [Description provided by NIOSH]
