Description:Starting in 1975, the Bureau of Mines made office and limited field studies of mineralization in 19.2 million acres in the Western Brooks Range, Alaska. This report concerns the proposed Noatak National Arctic Range. At least six geologic environments and areas were identified having mineral potential. [Description provided by NIOSH]
