Description:The National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) recommends that worker exposure to kepone in the workplace be controlled by adherence to the following sections. The standard is designed to protect the health and safety of workers for up to a 10-hour workday, 40 -hour workweek over a working lifetime. The standard will be subject to review and revision as necessary. 'Occupational "Exposure to Kepone' is defined as exposure to airborne kepone at concentrations greater than one -half of the workplace environmental limit for kepone. Exposure to kepone at concentrations less than one-half of the workplace environmental limit will not require adherence to the following sections of the standard, except For sections 3, 4 (a), 5, 6 (b,c,e,f), and 7."
