Description:This is a story about two boys on neighboring farms who became life-long friends. The story is based on discussions with many farm parents and children from Kentucky, Iowa, and Mississippi. The story and its related activities include information about farm economics, productivity, health, and injury gathered by University of Kentucky and many other researchers. As you complete the story you will interact with each other and with the story characters. You will make decisions about how to help the characters in the story protect their hearing by simple methods that prevent noise-induced hearing loss and its serious and sometimes deadly consequences.
