Description:The purpose of this study is to describe disease pattens in farm workers based on an analysis of death certificate data from 28 states. Farm workers are a difficult population to define. Our study does not include farm owners and operators but rather we are interested in farm workers who are defined by the Census Bureau as those who work under supervision to plant, cultivate, harvest, and care for farm animals.
