Description:A strategy used at Dow Medical Department for generating occupational health data to enable rapid identification of adverse health effects related to chemical exposure is discussed. A flow chart of industrial hygiene and medical information for cohort and case history studies is given. The involvement of plant personnel in the measurement and evaluation of exposures and computerization of the monitoring are two aspects of the program.
