Description:The National Post-acute and Long-term Care Study (NPALS) provided preliminary estimates of Adult Day Services Center (ADSC) operating statuses in 2020. This report provides updated estimates from 2022 to compare centers that were physically open with services provided “onsite only,” to open or temporarily closed centers that provided services onsite, at participants’ residences, or virtually. Operating status estimates are compared by U.S. Census region, metropolitan statistical area status, Medicaid-licensure, and number of enrolled participants.
