Description:The data for this national report come from the 464 fertility clinics in operation in 2015 that provided and verified data on the outcomes of all ART cycles started in their clinics. Of the 231,936 ART cycles performed in 2015 at these reporting clinics, 186,157 cycles (80%) were started with the intent to transfer at least one embryo. These 186,157 cycles resulted in 60,778 live births (deliveries of one or more living infants) and 72,913 infants. Data provided by U.S. fertility clinics that use ART to treat infertility is a rich source of information about the factors that contribute to a successful ART treatment--the delivery of a healthy infant.
