Description:Graphs and charts from the 2013 Assisted Reproductive Technology National Summary Report provide an in-depth picture of the type, number, and outcome of ART cycles performed in U.S. fertility clinics. The data come from the 467 fertility clinics in operation in 2013 that provided and verified data on the outcomes of all ART cycles started in their clinics. Of the 190,773 ART cycles performed in 2013 at these reporting clinics, 163,209 cycles (86%) were started with the intent to transfer at least one embryo. These 163,209 cycles resulted in 54,323 live births (deliveries of one or more living infants) and 67,996 infants. Data provided by U.S. fertility clinics that use ART to treat infertility is a rich source of information about the factors that contribute to a successful ART treatment--the delivery of a healthy infant.
