Description:Air samplings and medical studies at a chemical plant indicate that N-acetylsulfanilyl-chloride (121608) produces toxic effects as used and found in the N-acetylsulfanilyl-chloride production area. Toxicity reactions include irritation of the eyes, skin, and upper respiratory tract. Following prolonged exposure, certain individuals develop hypersensitivity to the compound and subsequent allergy symptoms.
