Description:The absence of symptomatology following 2-hour exposure to carbon- monoxide (630080) of plant guard employees at the new car shipping building of a truck assembly plant indicates that the concentrations of the gas normally encountered in the building are not toxic. Concentrations of carbon-monoxide vary from 10 to 150 parts per million and average 41 parts per million. Recommendations are made for the elimination of occasional adverse conditions caused by heavy vehicle traffic, cold vehicle engines, and stagnant atmospheric conditions.
