Description:Plastic dust generated in a cutting area is not found to be toxic at measured concentrations based on analysis of the acrylic plastic material, measured airborne dust concentrations, nondirected worker interviews, and observations of work practices. Noise levels produced by plastic sawing and routing operations are cited as presenting a potential hazard to hearing. Quantitative evaluation is not made of employee exposure to organic solvents.
