Description:Environmental evaluation of a glass manufacturing company (SIC-3231) reveals that airborne dusts containing free silica (7631869) in batch houses are not toxic at the concentrations found. A potential hazard from silica dust exists to maintenance men servicing the batch house equipment. Measures for the control of free silica dust are presented.
