  Exposure to vinyl-chloride monomer in the mixing and film casting work areas of the pliofilm department of a large tire and rubber company (SIC-3011) is not found to present a hazard to employee health, since no detectable levels of the compound are found in any of the areas samples. The lower limit of detection for vinyl- chloride (75014) monomer for the analytical and sampling method used is approximately 0.2 part per million. [Description provided by NIOSH]
