Description:Based on environmental measurements taken, medical interviews with affected employees, and chemical data supplied by the manufacturer, airborne concentrations of toluene (108883), xylene (108383), n- butyl-alcohol (71363), isobutyl-acetate, and of benzene (71432) used in the spray paint area of a section of the General Electric Company (SIC-4911), Rockford, Illinois are not found to be toxic in the conditions found. Recommendations include installation of a visible gauge or indicating device "across" the filter to indicate the pressure differential. [Description provided by NIOSH]
