Description:The format of this report is new, and differs from updates of the previous Action Plan by
providing progress descriptions that are embedded into the Action Plan. The Task Force hopes
that this format is useful for the reader in understanding the Federal agencies’ activities as we
move toward accomplishment of the Action Plans goals. The Task Force plans to continue to
provide annual updates on these Action Items and implementation steps as was done in the past.
