    This report provides a summary of cases and isolates of bacterial foodborne and diarrheal diseases reported to CDC in 2004. Data are provided for botulism, E. coli, hemolytic uremic syndrome, Listeria, typhoidal and non-typhoidal Salmonella, Shigella, and Vibrio. The report also includes expanded surveillance summaries for botulism, non-O157 Shiga toxin-producing E. coli, Listeria, Salmonella, Shigella, and Vibrio.
