Description:The National Association of County and City Health Officials’ (NACCHO) Vector Control Collaborative (VCC) program strengthens the ability of local communities to detect disease threats spread by mosquitoes and ticks through targeted technical assistance in the fundamental capabilities of vector surveillance and control. In February 2020, NACCHO concluded the third VCC Cohort which targeted programs from communities affected by Hurricanes Harvey, Irma, and Maria. The “Hurricane-Affected States” Cohort consisted of four programs from North Carolina and Texas.
