    On February 5, 2019, the NIOSH Safety Office notified the National Personal Protective Technology Laboratory that the Pittsburgh Gas and Vapor Laboratory was placed on a safety stand-down due to fume hood airflow issues. Beginning on March 26, 2019, Gas and Vapor operations have resumed and NIOSH has prioritized approval projects that were affected by the stand-down. NIOSH expects all approval projects in the test queue to be completed by mid-May, 2019.
