Description:Slips can occur on inclines as little as 10 degrees. NIOSH mining research has shown diamond weave grating to provide the best slip protection. Friction is your friend on inclined walkways. 1. Wear a tool backpack to avoid carrying tools in your hands. 2. Always maintain three points of contact. 3. Choose diamond weave grating when possible. 4. When walking downhill, go slow. 5. Use extra caution when ice, grease, water, or debris that could represent a slipping hazard is present.
