Description:The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC’s) Grant Funding Profiles (https://www.cdc.gov/fundingprofiles/) provide quick access to information on CDC funding provided to recipients in states, the District of Columbia, and territories. The following is a summary of the project funded through the Prevention and Public Health Fund (PPHF); this data was pulled from and can be accessed in the fiscal year 2021 (FY2021) dataset and jurisdictional summaries. The data include only funds awarded (i.e., obligated) through grants and cooperative agreements in FY2021. The “funding category” and “funding subcategory” fields in the table list the CDC budget line used to make the investment. More information on the parameters for selecting and categorizing the funding data are available in (About the Data). Because some of CDC’s notices of funding opportunity (NOFOs) cover a total project period greater than one year, the titles of NOFOs in this table may reflect the date the NOFO was first published; however, the funding totals, as previously described, include only the portion of funding provided in FY2021.
