Description:Information on all licensed podiatrists was collected in 1970 and 1974 through mailed questionnaires. The two questionnaires addressed essentially identical data elements and were coded and tabulated in comparable ways. Trends in the podiatric profession are discussed in this report by dealing with issues that impact on the general demographic characteristics of podiatrists, the characteristics of their clinical practice and the volume and nature of patient care administered during the week preceding the survey.
