Description:The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) established an office in Ukraine in 2010 to strengthen the capacity of the government and partners to prevent, detect, and respond to emerging global public health threats. CDC works with the Ukrainian Ministry of Health (MOH), the Public Health Center of Ukraine (UPHC), and other local and international partners to achieve HIV epidemic control. In addition, CDC supports Ukraine in strengthening laboratory, surveillance, and workforce capacity to combat disease outbreaks. CDC also supports Ukraine’s COVID-19 response.
