Description:National Partners Form a Powerful Network to Reduce Immunization Disparities and Increase Community-Level Engagement Through the Partnering for Vaccine Equity program, CDC allocated $62.7M (fiscal year 21-22) to eight national organizations with longstanding ties with specific communities to enact sustainable change for communities of color experiencing immunization inequities.
Since 2021, these organizations have implemented vaccination activities, deployed educational campaigns, and equipped influential messengers in their local branches/affiliates to engage communities experiencing immunization inequities. To support these efforts, CDC provides national partners access to a learning community with other partners, data insights on key health and demographic data, and a repository of vaccine promotion and educational resources.
