Description:The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) established an office in the Philippines in 2022 to strengthen and expand existing partnerships with the Philippines Department of Health (DOH). CDC supports the DOH to advance a broad range of health priorities, including increased global health security in Asia. CDC partners with the government of the Philippines and local organizations to prevent and control communicable and noncommunicable diseases, strengthen public health emergency preparedness and response, and expand global health security capacity.
