Description:To address challenges associated with TB control among persons experiencing homelessness, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s Division of TB Elimination hosted a workshop on TB and homelessness in September 2015. The workshop brought together public health officials, staff from homeless facilities, and other stakeholders to understand and discuss barriers to and strategies for implementing infection control measures in facilities providing services to homeless persons and to highlight resources available to prevent and reduce homelessness.
