Several workplaces that use methyl-chloride are described, together with various industrial applications of the chemical. Jobs requiring the use of methyl-chloride are identified, and current industrial hygiene and safety practices, including engineering controls, work practices, administrative controls, and biological and environmental sampling and control procedures are described.
