Description:The White House Office of Science and Technology Policy (OSTP) asked the Science and Technology Policy Institute (STPI) to support the National Summit on the Science and Technology of Epidemiological Modeling and Prediction (Summit), which was held in a virtual format on November 12–13, 2020. The goal of the Summit—which was coorganized by the National Science Foundation (NSF), Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Intelligence Advanced Research Projects Activity (IARPA), and OSTP—was to stimulate discussion across multiple relevant disciplines and stakeholder groups regarding a national research and development (R&D) roadmap for epidemiological modeling and prediction.
