The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has not yet authorized a COVID-19 vaccine for children 5 to 11 years of age, and CDC’s Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) has not yet made a recommendation on vaccinating this age group. CDC will update this web page when new information is available.
