Description:In response to inquiries about medical consent surrounding the administration of a booster shot of Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine to residents in long-term care (LTC) settings at least six months after their Pfizer-BioNTech primary series , the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has developed the following responses to frequently asked questions (FAQs).
These FAQs are intended to clarify that medical consent is not required by federal law for COVID-19 vaccination in the United States.
