Revisions were made on July 21, 2020 to reflect the following:
• Updates were made to the recommendations for staff to stay home when they are sick to link to guidance for ending home isolation.
Revisions were made on June 17, 2020 to reflect the following:
• The time frame before an individual should return to work after no fever without fever-reducing medication was changed from at least 72 hours to at least 24 hours.
Revisions were made on June 12, 2020 to reflect the following:
• Updates were made to refine recommendations for ending home isolation and PPE guidelines based on results from validated SARS-CoV-2 RT-PCR diagnostic assays.
Revisions were made on May 12, 2020 to reflect the following:
• A section on PPE extended use and reuse was added.
CDC guidance for COVID-19 may be adapted by state and local health departments to respond to rapidly changing local circumstances.
