  • Description:
This year’s conference theme, Getting to No New HIV Infections, highlights dynamic approaches to HIV prevention, testing, and treatment, and the critical roles that each of us has in achieving this vision. The new federal initiative announced in February will leverage critical scientific advances in HIV prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and care by coordinating the highly successful programs, resources, and infrastructure of HHS. While we have made great progress in recent years, much work remains. We have a once-in-a-generation opportunity to end the epidemic, thanks to advances in science that continue to provide us with the most powerful HIV prevention and treatment tools in history, and to research that helps us identify where infections are rapidly spreading. By providing all at-risk communities with effective prevention and treatment tools, we can end the HIV epidemic in America, and now is the time to do it! Publication date from document properties.
