Description:The Safety Pays, Falls Cost Campaign is a joint effort of two federal agencies, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH), plus a private non-profit organization, CPWR – The Center for Construction Research and Training . These three groups became the organizers of a campaign to prevent fatal falls at the request of the Construction Sector of the NORA Council, a group of businesses, large professional associations, building trade unions, and individual safety and health consultants, who discuss and advise NIOSH in its National Occupational Research Agenda (NORA) .
