Trend Table for Core Report Figure. Estimated proportion of adults aged ≥19 years who received selected vaccines,* by age group and increased-risk status† - National Health Interview Survey, United States, 2010-2015

Estimated proportions of adults aged ≥19 years who received selected vaccinations during the period 2010-2015 are shown in the trend table for the core report figure. Linear trend tests indicated that vaccination coverage for several vaccines significantly increased during this period. Influenza vaccination coverage among persons aged ≥19 significantly increased from the 2009-10 to 2014-15 influenza seasons (p < 0.01). During the period 2010 through 2015, significant increases were observed for pneumococcal vaccination among persons aged 19-64 years at increased risk (p < 0.01) and persons aged ≥65 years (p=0.01); tetanus, diphtheria, and Acellular pertussis (Tdap) vaccination among persons aged 19-64 years (p < 0.01); hepatitis A vaccination among persons aged ≥19 years (p=0.04), herpes zoster vaccination among persons aged ≥60 years (p < 0.01); and human papillomaVirus (HPV) vaccination among females aged 19-26 years (p < 0.01). From 2012 to 2015, Tdap vaccination increased among persons aged ≥65 years (p < 0.01), while HPV vaccination among males aged 19-26 years increased from 2011 to 2015 (p < 0.01). The only significant decrease that occurred during 2010 to 2015 was for hepatitis B vaccination, where a significant decreasing trend was observed among persons aged ≥19 years overall (p < 0.01). Coverage did not show statistically significant changes during 2010 through 2015 for overall tetanus vaccination (persons aged ≥19 years).

SUPPLEMENTARY FIGURE FOR CORE REPORT FIGURE. Estimated proportion of adults aged ≥19 years who received selected vaccines,* by age group and increased-risk status† - National Health Interview Survey, United States, 2010-2015

Supplementary Figure for Core Report Figure is a line graph of influenza; pneumococcal; tetanus toxoid-containing; tetanus, diphtheria, and Acellular pertussis (Tdap); hepatitis A; hepatitis B; herpes zoster and human papillomaVirus (HPV) vaccination coverage among adults aged ≥19 years by age group and increased risk status over time, where the y-axis represents vaccination coverage expressed as a percentage from 0% to 100% in increments of 10, and the x-axis is the survey year including years 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, and 2015 in that order. There are 11 lines representing influenza vaccination coverage among adults aged ≥19 years, pneumococcal vaccination coverage among adults aged 19-64 years at increased risk, pneumococcal vaccination coverage among adults aged ≥65 years, tetanus vaccination coverage among adults aged ≥19 years, Tdap vaccination coverage among adults aged 19-64 years, Tdap vaccination coverage among adults aged ≥65 years, hepatitis A vaccination coverage among all adults aged ≥19 years, hepatitis B vaccination coverage among all adults aged ≥19 years, herpes zoster vaccination coverage among adults aged ≥60 years, HPV vaccination coverage among females aged 19-26 years, and HPV vaccination coverage among males aged 19-26 years. Tdap vaccination coverage among all adults aged ≥65 years includes data years 2012 through 2015, as 2012 was the first year Tdap vaccination was collected among this age group. HPV vaccination among males includes data years 2011 through 2015, as the estimate in 2010 was suppressed due to relative standard error > 30%.

Lines are described in order from top (highest coverage) to bottom (lowest coverage) of the figure.
