      Two new vaccinated cases were accepted today, a non-paralytic Wyeth ^associated case from Ohio, and a non-paralytic Lilly associated case from Texas

      Vaccinated cases accepted through 12:00 Noon 5-25-55 total 94 (Table 2),

      Dr. Edwin H. Lennette, Virus and Rickettsial Laboratory, State Department of Health, Berkeley, California, reports the isolation of type 1 poliomyelitis vlrus from the stools of two previously reported Cutter vaccinated cases (PSU Case No. Cal-4 and PSU Case Cal-22). Dr. Lennette previously relsolation of type 1 virus from the stool of PSU Case No. Cal-21 and has two grown type 1 virus from stools of threee healthy family contacts of this case.

      Table 1 summarizes data on virus isolations. Among the 94 vaccinated cases reported through May 25 there are to date 20 instances of virus isolation, either from the case or from family contacts of the case. Type 1 virus has been isolated from the stools of 15 Cutter associated cases, and from family contacts of two additional Cutter associated cases. Isolations have also been reported from 2 Lilly associated cases, (type 2 from PSU Case No. La-2 at type 3 from PSU Case No. Ga-l), and from one Wyeth associated case, (type 1 from PSU Case No. Pa-2).
