      Pedigree tTesting of specimens included in the tTesting panels. Diluted specimens were pedigreed at the Institut National de la Transfusion Sanguine (INTS) (Paris, France) with the following enzyme immunoassays (EIAs): Vidas HIV DUO Ultra (BioMérieux, Craponne, France), Genscreen HIV Ag/Ab Ultra (Bio-Rad, Marne la Coquette, France) for HIV; Murex HBsAg V3 (Dia Sorin, Saluggia, Italy); and Monolisa HCV Ag/Ab Ultra v2 (Bio-Rad) for HCV. Supplemental assays were used to confirm positive results with WB HIV (HIV blot 2.2, MP Biomedicals Illkirch-Graffenstaden, France) and InnoLia HCV (Fujirebio, Les Ulis, France). The manufacturers’ instructions were followed for all tTesting.
